Habersham village
A district rebrand for a small shopping center in Savannah, GA.
The rebrand of Habersham Village was designed to position the district as a hidden gem in Savannah. I wanted it to be elevated yet welcoming and be based on the historical roots of the name while still being modern. I included physical signage, posters, a bus stop ad, a website, social media posts, and merchandise.
The goal was to attract visitors while strengthening the local community and boosting small businesses. Inspired by the medieval origins of the name “Habersham” and Savannah’s rich historical backdrop, the branding incorporates traditional symbolism with a contemporary edge.
The panther logo serves as a mascot and represents strength, elegance, and resilience, which it represented in medieval folklore. Patterns used throughout the branding began with Illustrator’s vector AI tool and were then carefully refined to align with the overall vision. It has a medieval feeling to it while being modern and trendy, allowing for a visually engaging pattern that is perfect for merchandise. These elements create a cohesive identity that feels sophisticated but not exclusionary.
