Mindscapes is a magazine dedicated to exploring the world of surrealist art, delving into the movement’s most influential figures. This issue focuses on three surrealist artists, including Salvador Dalí, René Magritte, and Leonora Carrington.

The magazine was designed with a balance of bold, dreamlike visuals and refined minimalism. I chose to use minimal color for the cover and the artist introduction spreads to create a contrast with the very colorful and engaging article spreads.

The layout uses strict columns for the articles, only interrupted by images of the artworks and their captions. These design choices enhance the magazine’s storytelling, creating a visually engaging journey through the surrealist movement. A few pages feature large images to give them a better impact to the reader and to allow them to be seen better.
